mug-cake

You know them times when you want something sweet but you don’t feel like baking and you don’t really want to make a whole cake as you know you will probably eat it all? Well have no fear we have a perfect cake recipe that only takes 2 minutes and is for a single serve. Warning though you may find yourself making these every night while watching Netflix lol

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons self raising flour

2 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa

1 egg

2 tablespoons milk

2 tablespoons oil

Large mug

 Method:

Add dry ingredients to a large mug, and mix well.

Add the egg and combine well.

Pour in the milk, and continue storing.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 2 minutes on high, we use a 1100 watt microwave so a just accordingly. I check mine after 1 min 30 secs if it over cooks it becomes dry.

The cake will rise over the top of the mug, this is normal. If you don’t want it to rise to high you can cut the mixture in half.

Once your cake is cooked eat straight out of the mug or pop into a bowl with some vanilla ice cream, yum!
